Fashionista on Holiday!

You can’t deny it.. fashion is the expression of our individuality. But I found I often have a travel dilemna!
And how best to express our inner self than work on combining fashion items.
Each day another style… each day another you!
Redefine yourself on a budget with basics and accessories!!

With the ever changing weather we’ve been experiencing, I started to wonder what to pack for my next holiday in the ‘sun’? I can’t take too many clothes with me as the airlines have more and more strict rules about how much you can take with you. And if you have children, you know that this limits quite a lot what you can bring with you FOR you.

So pack light, and pack intelligent: dress up with layers and accessories over simple basics. I tend to bring with me black and jeans colours long leggings and a few light longer tunics and some fashionable and classic cardigans. Dress up with belts and necklaces, and hey presto the tunic can be worn as dress  – weather permitting, or even over the bikini at the beach. I found my side of the suitcase to be a lot lighter these days, but my sense of style improved tremendously!

If we’re heading to a cooler destination, I swap the sandals for ankle boots, and the summer cardigan for a lovely long angora (finances permitting) one. Grey and Sand shades still rock my boat. Combined with a nice pashmina shawl and matching accessories, and I am warm and ready for the catwalk! Bring that little black dress too!
